Little Scholars PreSchool and Child Care Center offers a professionally designed, thematic curriculum, complete with lesson plans which presents a play-based curriculum model. We focus on planning daily experiences organization, and arrangement of fun, educational exploration, scaffolding for individual growth, beginning Spanish, beginning American Sign Language, assessing play experiences, progress reports, portfolios, and newsletters for parents to use as a guide to reinforce positive involvement at home.
Children will learn through hands-on play and structured activities in our well-organized "learning environments". These are the different centers within each classroom where children can find toys and materials related by theme, interest, and skills. These activities and toys can be used independently by children, or with teacher direction, to reinforce and enrich skills and concepts needed for success. Learning environments are an excellent way to individualize the curriculum to meet the varying needs of young children. Our facility, quality child care and education methods are what set us apart from the rest.
We believe that children learn best when parents and teachers work together and support each other, therefore, we encourage the active involvement of parents.
Our mission is to create a well-balanced, healthy, creative, and
fun-filled environment for children ages infants to 5 years. Children will explore, learn and develop social skills that will prepare them to start school and interact with others. We will provide highly trained, skilled, and motivated staff to help develop all the skills needed for children to succeed.
