We believe that all children deserve love, attention, respect, and nurturing. We believe that a safe and loving environment allows children to explore and grow. At Little Scholars Preschool and Child Care Center, we allow children to have hands-on learning experiences. This fosters age appropriate development. We read to the children every day to encourage strong literacy skills. We believe that positive reinforcement is important for children to develop self-esteem. Children need an environment that supports free expression and stimulates learning.  Most importantly, we believe that children need to have fun!


At Little Scholars Preschool and Child Care Center, we make sure that every child is involved in stimulating activities every day, and we make sure they have fun.  Children learn best when they are having fun!  At Little Scholars Preschool and Child Care Center we recognize that each parent has a difficult schedule and try our best to support parents in every way we can. We offer full and part-time care, early drop-off, with some weekend care to accommodate your schedule. We recognize the importance of work, and the stress and demands placed on parents. We strive to make it easier on parents by giving them the secure knowledge that their children are in great hands.


All of our teachers pass a rigorous screening and fingerprint process. We are licensed in the State of Florida in Sarasota County. Most of our teachers have advanced degrees in child development. We insure that our staff exceeds state requirements for CPR and First Aid and we encourage them to further their education to benefit our school and your children.

go North on Rosin Way (between
Pho 99 Restaurant and the BMW Car Dealer), take your first right on Rosin Way, we are located in the 2nd building on your left.

  • Open: Monday through Friday

  • Hours: 7:00 am to 5:30 pm

  • We serve 2 nutritious snacks daily for our 2 year old through 5 year old classes

  • Our morning PreSchool Program runs from 9:00am until 11:30am

  • Rest time is between 11:30am and 2:00pm depending on the age group

  • Our afternoon PreSchool program runs from 2:00pm until 4:30pm

  • The Quality of Our Facility - it is always fresh and clean every day.

  • The Security of Our Facility - security cameras in each classroom, on the playground, and at the front entrance areas.

  • The Quality of Early Childhood Education - our teachers will have children academically ready and prepared to attend kindergarten with success and confidence. We have created an environment ready for fun, exploration, and learning through play which is what all children do best. Our classrooms are all filled with great educational games, toys,  and software at our computer centers. All of which will inspire, academic growth and development for each child.    
    Our standards of teaching are high and strong.  We teach up, young children have the ability to learn so much more then most people realize.  We realize this and see it everyday in our classrooms.  Our goal is to have each child be their own personal best.  

  • The Quality of Care for Each Child - our child care is by far the best in the area. Our teachers work with each child on their manners, self confidence, personal growth, and academic achievements each day.

  • Teachers -  95% of our teachers hold formal degrees.  It is not required by the State of Florida for the age group of children we teach.  However, we do look for the best teachers to teach at our school.

  • Our Give Back to Families Programs - our school has the belief of giving back to those who help to make our business successful, our customers and staff!  This program helps families to save money and much more!
